As you settle into your new home and begin to explore the Outaouais, we hope that West Quebecers can ease you into the transition by making this information available to you. The guide as well as the package are designed to answer the many questions you may have as a newcomer to the region.
We also invite you to go through the West Quebecers website www.westquebecers.ca, to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter, where you will find information about local events, activities, and services of particular interest to our English-speaking community.
Go to our Community Services Directory and you will come across services such as youth centers, community service groups, childcare services, and government services. All of these services cater to the English-speaking community.
We hope that you will join our membership which assists the Association in helping to maintain the vitality of the English-speaking community (over 70,000) in the Outaouais. Also, if you are interested in putting in some community volunteer hours, we would be more than happy to have you at West Quebecers.
