A Community Conversation on Health, Safety and Access
On April 4, MNA André Fortin engaged with members of the English-speaking community at a 5 à 7 event hosted by the Regional Association of West Quebecers (RAWQ) at Little Red Wagon Winery. In a casual, informal environment, attendees expressed worries regarding health care, public safety, and language accessibility. Fortin urged support for the Shawville hospital and requested increased federal backing in healthcare along with acknowledgment of doctors trained abroad. The event showcased RAWQ’s continuous efforts to amplify the region’s Anglo community.
