Building Bridges Through Language in Campbell’s Bay
On June 11, the Regional Association of West Quebecers (RAWQ) held its second Language Exchange Meetup at Brauwerk Hoffman in Campbell’s Bay. Community members came together for a night of multilingual dialogue, engaging in French, English, Spanish and other languages in a welcoming, friendly environment. Motivated by comparable gatherings in Sherbrooke, the meetups focus on fostering connection and self-assurance, no matter the proficiency in language. The rotating monthly sites throughout the Pontiac and Aylmer areas additionally aid local enterprises. The gathering nurtured a sense of community via discussions, treats and joy.
