A Decade of Trivia: RAWQ’s Quiz Night Celebrates Community and Tradition
The Regional Association of West Quebecers (RAWQ) held its annual Quiz Night on March 21 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, drawing a lively crowd of community members of all ages. Longtime participants, including a team attending for over 10 years, competed in trivia led by Ottawa’s official quiz master, Gord Smith. The evening included door prizes, a silent auction, and the presence of Aylmer councillors Anik des Marais and Nike Duggan. The event celebrated not only knowledge but also community spirit and continuity, with one team recreating a photo taken a decade earlier. As RAWQ’s key fundraiser, the evening reinforces its mission to support the English-speaking community of Western Quebec.
