Robert Therriault (YES Business Coach) became involved with YES Montreal as a volunteer mentor and joined YES full-time as a business coach in 2014. As an experienced financial professional, he has been involved in a number of different companies from start-ups to publicly-traded. He has lived and worked in Toronto, Vancouver, New York City, Washington DC, and Ottawa before settling in Montreal. Prior to joining YES Employment + Entrepreneurship, he was involved with a fund investing in new companies in Montreal. He was also involved with a green energy trading and transmission start-up. He was the CFO of a publicly listed junior mining company. He also co-founded an investment fund as well as being a corporate banker and has done some merchant banking. Bob has an MBA from McGill and a CPA CMA designation, as well as having successfully completed level 1 of the CFA program. Bob truly enjoys working with entrepreneurs of all stages, helping them tackle issues such as business plans, cash flow management, marketing, expansion plans and focusing on what are the important issues. Entrepreneurship is both challenging and rewarding, and he aims to find ways to help support individuals launching or managing their business.

Yoana Turnin (Provincial Projects Manager
) joined YES Employment + Entrepreneurship in 2017 and is currently the Provincial Projects Manager. Originally from Bulgaria, she completed an Honors Communication Studies Degree at Ithaca College in Upstate New York. Yoana has worked in the non-profit, media, and labour sectors as an advocate, facilitator, and organizer. She continues to build upon these experiences and successfully completed her MBA in June 2020. Yoana draws energy and inspiration from working with YES’ Partners across Quebec and helping new and established entrepreneurs achieve their goals.
