Free French Courses

The Regional Association of West Quebecers hosts French Second Language in Aylmer, Shawville and Wakefield and are open to the public, regardless of immigration status. We offer instruction in three language levels, A1 (beginner), A2 (high beginner) and B1 (intermediate). We run two FSL sessions each year, and each session is 10 classes each. Our classes are once a week for 1.5 hours in the evening, and typically run between 6 to 9pm. Depending on location they are hosted Monday-Thursday night.

Registration starts: Dec 9, 2019, 10:00 AM

Conversation Club

More advanced students in the Aylmer area, or students that want more exposure to French have the option to join our French Conversation Club. Hosted at 300 Wilfrid-Lavigne, Aylmer in partnership with L’Initial Residence, this club focuses on improving listening comprehension and spoken French. It is also open to the public and takes place on Monday nights from 6 to 7:30pm.

Participation for the conversation club has a small fee, payable at the RAWQ offices prior to beginning the conversation class. Registration is always open for this activity and you can join when our FSL classes are in session.

For more information you can contact the RAWQ offices at aco@westquebecers.ca
